Once is never enough!

We’ll revise and refine the basic techniques (L-technique, R-technique, NG-technique, vowel technique, etc.), work on producing overtones that are louder and clearer, and once again immerse ourselves in the world of overtone singing with listening exercises, singing exercises, breathing exercises and audio examples.

In this workshop, we’ll delve into the fascinating world of overtone singing. We’ll learn the basic techniques and, through targeted vocal and listening exercises, practise consciously perceiving and bringing out the overtones that are already present in our voices.

With a playful sense of curiosity, we’ll explore our own voices, refine our perception and discover new sonic spaces. The aim is not to sing ‘correctly’, but to listen, experiment and rediscover the voice as an instrument.

As we take our first steps in this fascinating vocal art, we’ll listen to sound samples from all over the world and gain a brief insight into the physical principles behind it.

The workshop is suitable for beginners with no prior experience. Those with singing experience are also very welcome. Above all, it requires an open mind, curiosity and a joy in discovery.

A weekend of listening, making sounds and marvelling – and of getting to know your own voice in a whole new way.

Participants should attend both days.
